Poster Competition - topic "Attractive Science Education"

Open to: Students (13 - 18 years old)  from any European Union member states, Candidate  states and the Russian Federation.  
Contestants are encouraged to submit posters showcasing their vision, belief and ideas about engaging and attractive science education. Posters are to be evaluated and judged by an international jury (a.k.a. TTTNet Steering committee); best posters will be showcased at TTTNet website, social media and the TTTNet conference in Seville, Spain between 05 - 06 November 2015.
Award:
  • The 1st place winner (individual or a team) will receive financing for participation in the International Conference “Engaging Methods for Science Education”, in Seville, Spain in 05 - 06 November 2015. This includes travel expenses and accommodation up to 800 EUR (If a team is participating, please bear in mind that this amount is set and is not multiplied by the number of the team members. The award cannot be replaced with its monetary equivalent and cannot be remiss to third parties)
The winner/winners, who will participate in the International conference, will have to present their poster during the event in English.

Eligibility:
In order to be eligible, participants must be students (13 - 18 years old) enrolled at a school from any European Union member states, Candidate states and the Russian Federation.

Criteria:
  • Each entry must be an original unpublished work that you have created that does not include material in which a third party has intellectual property rights.
  • Please design your poster at 300 dpi or more, at 50x70cm (2953×4134 pixels) or greater and linked to the electronic application form
  • A preview limited to 5 MB should be sent via e-mail but send it to us at 200 dpi (RGB) format, and JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg, or .jpe), EPS or PDF format. 
  • Do not publish your submitted poster art on Facebook or other social media until after the winners are announced.
  • Please do not enter promotional or advertising poster in the contest, these will not be accepted.
  • Only first-, second-, and third-place winners will be notified personally.
  • Official language of the posters is English.
  • BE CREATIVE! Your ideas can be presented via different media - comics, collage, handpainted images, text and other media. The posters will be assessed on creativity.

Important: Participants in the contest agree that their posters are published on the project website.

The Teamwork, Training and Technology Network project (TTTNET; ref. 540029-LLP-1-2013-1-IT-COMENIUS-CNW) aims to summarize practices, to identify innovations and actively work to mainstream those findings into educational policies with the aim of making science education more attractive and appealing to the young learners. The project strives to build on the experience of teachers-innovators and on the achievements of international projects and initiatives aimed at supporting science education
